Been hurt a few too many times then again isn't one really too many? Thought she'd give love a chance what a beautiful idea, she thought but love doesn't always go right and she found out the hard way oh last time her heart was broken she couldn't take it she put on the armor she's got an iron clad heart oh she locked her heart up in the highest room of the tallest tower so no one could get to it oh she's got a dragon guarding a castle surrounded by thorns but I know her prince will come someday and awaken her iron clad heart

It seems that people always protest when you say you've given up on something. Even if you gave up months ago (or possibly longer) they say "don't give up" and its hard not to just say "already did" and walk away. Also depending on what you gave up on they may also tell you things you don't believe. It's not that they're lying, in fact most of the time they don't know what they're talking about. It's pretty annoying tho.

I think what i like the best about summer isnt the warm weather or the lack of school. no, my favorite part is that during the summer i can escape my insecurities. for a while at least. cuz in the summer i dont have to pass him in the halls daily knowing that our friendship is nearly dead. in the summer i can forget the feelings of not meaning anything to him anymore when at one point i thought i was one of his best friends.

I have feeling that, well it never really goes away, i just seem to forget about it for a while. Anyway, i haven't been able to forget about it lately. Its the feeling as if I hardly matter in the lives of the people who mean the most to me. Well, I've wasted enough of your time now....
